Our commitment

Flame Throwers LLC wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time task.

The standard we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Steps we have taken

  • Clear page structure with headings and landmarks for screen readers.
  • Text descriptions (alt text) on meaningful images, such as each pizza photo.
  • Links and buttons that work with a keyboard.
  • High-contrast text against our dark background.
  • Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting: when it is on, the background video stops and scroll animations are turned off.
  • The background video has no sound and carries no information you would miss without it.
  • A layout that adapts to phones, tablets and desktop, and supports browser zoom.
  • Phone and email links you can tap to contact us directly.

Known limitations

  • Some sections animate as you scroll. If this is uncomfortable, turn on “reduce motion” in your device settings and the site will stop these effects.
  • The site is currently available in English only.

If anything on the site is hard to use, or you need help with our menu or ingredients, call us at 509-913-2693 and we will walk you through it and take your order by phone.

If you run into an accessibility barrier, please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you used. We will try to fix the problem or provide the information another way.

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) and common screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack.
